Everyone’s favourite boozy, brunch time activity gets a Basque twist, as Pintura launches their brand new Bottomless Basque Brunch Menu on Sunday 24th July. From 10am-2pm every Sunday, Pintura will help Leeds gastronomes start Sunday the right way with a plethora of incredible Basque breakfast dishes & pastries, served with a side of never-ending liquid refreshments including Red Snappers, Cava Mimosas, fresh fresca juices & Basque-roasted coffee.
Award-winning Head Chef Greg Lewis is taking good old English breakfast classics to the next level with a menu of Basque delights, all served straight from the restaurant’s plancha grill. Dishes include Greg’s speciality and Basque food icon, the Tortilla Classica (Basque omelette, caramelized onion and potato), Frijoles Negro (slow-cooked black beans, piquillo peppers & tomato sauce) plus ‘The Full Spanish’ (chistorra sausage, braised belly bacon, black beans & morcilla sausage, slow-roasted tomato & crunchy hen’s egg).
Guests can enjoy brunch with friends served indoors at their table or outside in Pintura’s gin garden. For the best seats in the house though, Pintura recommends taking brunch at their chef’s counter where diners can eat like a Basque local and really get in on the bustling theatre of a busy kitchen.
For an indulgent treat, guests will not be disappointed with the restaurant’s freshly prepared selection from Pintura’s in-house baker – dishes include delights such as Pan De Pasas (Raisin Bread) and Homemade Brioche with Seville orange & dark chocolate. For those who prefer a savoury taste, Chistorra (paprika sausage rolls with piquillo spicy ketchup) are the perfect brunch dish to enjoy with one of Pintura’s Café Baque coffees – supplied by a family-run coffee roaster in Bilbao.
Pintura’s Basque Brunch launches Sunday July 24th and is served every Sunday, 10am-2pm and is priced at £25. Sittings last 90 minutes giving you more than enough time to offset any of the week’s good intentions!
