Pho's vegan taste sensations
Pho has added Spicy Salad Rolls, wrapped up in lettuce and carrots, to the menu and there are plenty of Vietnamese vegan options. The six vegan noodle soups are full of nutritional goodness and the curries and rice bowls are equally delicious. Pop into Trinity Kitchen or book a table here.
Wagamama spices up veganism
Wagamama has a varied vegan menu. Order the Mixed Mushrooms and Panko Aubergine Hirata Steamed Buns, the Kare Burosu – a noodle soup with silken tofu and vegetables – or the Yasai Samla Curry, with tofu and shiitake mushrooms.
Tortilla burrito and taco mania
For a quick bite, order the vegan burrito at Tortilla. The seasonal, chargrilled veggies – a mix of peppers, onions and courgette – are just what you need to brighten up cold months. Plus the guacamole’s free on all veggie and vegan orders!
The Alchemist’s fancy vegan dishes
A perfect vegan main course at The Alchemist is the Cauliflower Katsu Curry, accompanied by crispy kale and rice. A treat for dessert is Fancy Rice Pudding made with coconut, mango, pineapple and chilli lime foam. There are vegan set menus, which makes bringing your vegan friends to a party here simple. Of course, The Alchemist specialises in cocktails, which happen to be vegan-friendly.
Be charitable and vegan at Rola Wala
Rola Wala has introduced the Karma Korma, a spice-fuelled roll (or bowl) filled with fresh ingredients and free from nuts, dairy, sugar, and heavy oils. For its Feedanuary campaign, Rola Wala is working with charity partner One Feeds Two. When you buy a Karma Korma, they double the One Feeds Two donation, to feed two other children living in poverty. Other vegan options are Red Channa Dal, Keralan Chickpea and Sweet Potato Saagwala.
