Fans of Tim Burton's films must rush to see big-budget Disney film ‘Dumbo’. Bound to be a tear-jerker, ‘Dumbo’ enchants audiences as he flies with his oversized ears. Holt (Colin Farrell) used to be a circus star but returns from war a changed man. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of Dumbo. When it’s discovered that the little elephant can fly, entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) turn the elephant into a star. Dark secrets soon surface… Showing at Everyman 1st– 4th April.
Khalid: Free Spirit
American singer and songwriter Khalid has a new album out, ‘Free Spirit’, and short film that’s showing at Everyman on Wednesday 3rd April. This one-night fan event also involves an early listen of the album.
The spring menu at Angelica features a Buffalo Mozzarella & Heirloom Tomato Salad and a Grilled Yellowfin Tuna Salad – perfect for a light lunch. Good ol’ Fish & Chips is on the Express Menu (main and drink for £15). Keep an eye out for Saturday party nights with cocktails, DJs and top views. VIP table bookings are available.
Book Côte Brasserie for a slap-up Easter meal, starting with a Kir Royale apéritif, a blend of Blanc de Blancs brut and cassis. For mains, enjoy rump of lamb with a potato, fennel and olive oil purée, followed by the Crêpe Grand Marnier, served with vanilla ice-cream, for dessert.
Vietnamese street food at Trinity Kitchen’s Pho restaurant has dishes full of fresh, healthy greens, perfect for spring eating. Twenty-five per cent of the menu is vegan. Slurp noodles, share crispy spring rolls and sip Saigon beer.
