We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our Leeds team and manage the day to day running of our new store in Trinity Leeds.
As an Assistant Manager you will be expected to:
Assist the manager with the day to day operation of the store whilst ensuring costs are contained within targets
Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times
Helping to manage, coach and motivate the team to deliver all targets and lead by example
Maximise store profitability by promoting sales within the store
Deputising the manager when necessary
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Cash handling, including banking procedures.
Staff management including: Rotas, holidays, maintaining skills and hiring new recruits.
Merchandising to increase sales.
Requesting stock from suppliers or warehouse.
Increasing sales and up-selling.
Assisting marketing with promotional material.
You will be responsible for your team and your store, with support available from Head Office. It's therefore important that the chosen candidate is the right fit, with strong communication and problem solving skills, as well as a positive attitude.
Salary dependant upon experience.
Candidates must be flexible, weekend work is required.
