Crew Members - Doner Haus - Opening Soon

We opened Döner Haus in Glasgow in 2017 with a view to change kebabs forever. Using the finest quality meats and artisan baked breads to create our unique kebaps, we've built up an excellent reputation and we are now opening Döner Shack in Trinity Kitchen, Leeds. We are looking for a Crew Members to prepare food to the exact specifications as well as assisting the team with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of duties to help operate your restaurant. Crew member job duties include taking orders, preparing orders, making food and completing cash transactions. You are also responsible for keeping the restaurant clean, sanitized and working properly.

Your responsibilities:

* Comply with HACCP, hygiene and food safety standards

* Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

* Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping salads, preparing the breads/sauces)

* Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the team members

* Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

* Answer, report and follow supervisor/managers instructions

* Clean up stations and record any wastage

* Ensure restaurant remains clean and organised

* Ensure stock levels remain sufficient at all times

* Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

What you will need:

* Proven experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook

* Ability to learn cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

* The proven ability to being able to work under pressure and capable running successful shifts

* Motivated by being busy

* A passion for self-development to ensure you can grow with the company when opportunities arise

* 10-40 hours per week (plus the opportunity of overtime)

* £8.33 ph after training (plus equal share of weekly tips)
