Supervisor - Doner Haus - Opening Soon

We opened Döner Haus in Glasgow in 2017 with a view to change kebabs forever. Using the finest quality meats and artisan baked breads to create our unique kebaps, we've built up an excellent reputation and we are now opening Döner Shack in Trinity Kitchen, Leeds. We are looking for a professional Supervisor to help the management team, get the best out of our team members and deliver a great customer experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction as well as creating a professional but enjoyable working environment.

You will need to be experienced with the day to day operations within a restaurant with a strong understanding of day to day operations.

Your responsibilities:

* Comply with HACCP, hygiene and food safety standards at all times

* Set up and stock stations with all necessary food/small wares

* Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing breads/sauces)

* Cook menu items in line with brand standards

* Guide and train other BOH team members

* Keep kitchen and BOH areas clean and organised

* Ensure appropriate stock levels at all times

* Stock ordering

* Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

What you will need:

* At least 1-year previous experience in a supervisor role or similar

* Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook

* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

* Familiar with industry’s best practices

* The proven ability to being able to work under pressure and capable of running successful shifts

* Motivated by being busy

* A passion for self-development to ensure you can grow with the company when opportunities arise

* Basic numeracy skills

* 30-45 hours per week (plus the opportunity of overtime)

* £8.50 ph after training (plus equal share of weekly tips)
